I think that it’s important for interracial relationship participants to be intact with both cultures. Many people who have biracial children have the tendency to stick with the side that was open to the interracial relationship in the beginning. Its not fair to the child when its done that way.

Nice way to explain you opinion in this blog. I agree fully with you, that Jennifer Clark's article didn't catch my eye. It had a lot of facts but it was really not interest it was just a lot of data put together to make something. You did not use much detail in your response so if i have never read this article i would have not clue what your trying to talk about. The article of buck he did you a lot of student feedback which i thought was good. I am sure that he couldn't get accurate information if he did it just from his own research. By asking actual students then it would get accurate feedback to put in his article. The was nothing in your blog about the response. If you would have mention something about that then it could brought a little more light to your blog. It was very down to earth might I say and easy to relate to. I think from reading your blog you could have related to it in a way. How you expressed your opinion in the begining could have countered some of your thought. Anyways overall it was well but could have had a little more spice.

Jason, overall a good start and some interesting points. Some recommendations as you go forward:

Make sure to have your main point or thesis at the end of your first paragraph. That will help organize the rest of the piece.

Also, something to consider addressing in your paper - if the quality of their factories are better than the others in their countries, but much, much worse than ours, do we have a responsibility to help? Stated differently, if we have the opportunity to make their lives even better through trade agreements, should we do it?

Make sure to include some personal examples of Nike in your life - either wearing, using, walking in a sneaker store, etc. The more personalized, the better!

If you have any questions as you expand, let me know! Thanks!
